Strategic Portfolio Adjustment Amid Market Uncertainty
Hello fellow Sharks,
Over the past few weeks, I've been analyzing our portfolio to identify opportunities for optimization, given the current geopolitical landscape. Recognizing that predicting the exact bottom of a correction is challenging (I am not the best person at timing the market), I've adopted a disciplined dollar-cost averaging strategy—steadily adding to positions each week.
In line with this approach, we will be increasing our allocation to a specific stock within our portfolio (details provided beyond the paywall). To fund this adjustment, we will gradually reduce our holdings in RCL, RGA, and BLBD. Currently, our portfolio allocations are 4.8% RCL, 2.1% RGA, and 2.0% BLBD. Each week, we plan to collectively reduce these positions by approximately 0.5%, reallocating those funds to the stock highlighted below.
Importantly, my outlook remains positive for RCL, RGA, and BLBD; however, the identified opportunity currently presents a more favourable risk/reward profile.
I'm preparing a deep dive into our target investment, which will be shared with you shortly. Nevertheless, we must begin this reallocation now.
Best of luck, fellow Sharks.
